Cristina Ciocca, School Psychologist

Cristina L. Ciocca, Psy.D. is a child and adult clinical neuropsychologist, licensed in both Connecticut and New York, specializing in the assessment, treatment and educational consultation of gifted and neurologically impaired children. Her broad expertise with both public and private school systems allows her to offer appropriate individualized programming for each child so that they may develop to their fullest potential. Dr. Ciocca is fluent in Spanish, Italian and English and has a breadth of expertise in understanding language and multicultural factors that affect both neuropsychological and psychological development. She has consulted to school districts across Connecticut as well as being a consultant to a number of medical and psychiatric hospitals for the past two decades. Dr. Ciocca provides expert testimony in Due Process hearings, personal injury cases, Habeas Corpus hearings and mitigation hearings. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and provides yearly conferences at local chapters of Special Education Parent Teacher Organization Alliance and SpedEd Connecticut. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Marquette University, her Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Psychology at the Miami Institute of Psychology under the direct instruction of Drs. Alfredo Ardilla and Monica Rosselli, and her two-year Postdoctorate Training at Hartford Hospital/The Institute of Living. Dr. Ciocca also has a private practice in New York and Connecticut.

Dr. Ciocca will be active in our admissions and exmissions campaigns for both campuses. Her years of experience assessing children of all ages will be an asset to our program.
