Associate Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management

Job Title: Associate Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management 

Department: Admissions and Enrollment

Reports to: Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management

Position Status: Staff, Full-Time (Year around). 

Salary Range: $65-$75,000 plus benefits


The position reports to the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management and supports the overall work of enrollment management and admissions. This is a year around position and requires some weekend and evening hours.

The Montessori Schools is an AMI School with two locations: SoHo and Flatiron. This position shares equal time at both locations and assists in all areas of admissions and marketing. This position also helps support enrollment management and student retention programs.



  • In coordination with the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management, develop a plan that highlights the differentiating qualities of The Montessori Schools and market those appropriately.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of outreach/marketing activities and programming (e.g., open houses, presentations, welcome events). 
  • Cultivate the flow of quality applicants from prospect to matriculation delivering excellent customer service skills and taking necessary steps to ensure families complete the application, financial aid, and enrollment processes and serve as a welcoming ambassador throughout that process.
  • Maintain appropriate systems to facilitate family visits, and interviewing using TADS management
  • Monitor the effectiveness of admissions initiatives and present new strategies for recruitment and admission activities. Maintain weekly  admission metrics for the administrative team.
  • Support campus tours and meetings with prospective families when necessary
  • Present The Montessori Schools to prospective students, families, or groups, including tours, recruitment fairs, and other events.
  • Meet set admissions goals in the number of students, while respecting other key enrollment targets as set for by the senior administrative team.
  • Organize applicant visits and manage the process including follow-up.
  • Enter and maintain updated records for prospective students in the master database, TADS.
  • Summarize all data in prospective student files 
  • Represent The Montessori Schools in the community and maintain regular contact with local feeder programs and organizations. 
  • Perform all duties while respecting confidentiality team-spirited approach. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
