We are seeking an Assistant Director of Administration & Education to join our administrative team. This role is central to the smooth operation of our schools and provides daily support to our faculty, leadership team, and parent community.
About the Role
The Assistant Director of Administration & Education plays a vital role in sustaining an organized, joyful, and compliant school environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Administrative Operations & Compliance
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and student records
– Ensure all documentation complies with NYC DOH Article 47 standards
– Support onboarding, training coordination, and record management
- Daily School Support
– Work closely with teachers and staff to manage daily schedules
– Provide on-the-ground support during transitions, school events, and peak times
– Step into classrooms when needed to maintain continuity and student support
- Community Presence
– Serve as a warm, professional, and approachable point of contact for families
– Uphold our culture of calm, respect, and partnership

- Experienced with children (required)
- Certified in New York State Early Childhood Education (preferred)
- Experience in Montessori environments is a plus but not required—training and mentorship will be provided.
Salary Range: $57,500-$62,500 annually
